SMI strives for total quality. SMI srl's Quality Control has been active for several decades and in 1995 obtained UNI ISO EN 9001 certification with certificate SQ0634-IT from DNV.
In June 2018, it obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification.
SMI's Quality Control operations follow the ISO 2859 standard (Limit Quality Acceptance) with a LQA of 0.65%.
